The team of A-Ventures Management Company consists of professionals with extensive expertise in the area of business management and restructuring, general management, financing, M&A, direct investment (private equity), law, as well as technical specialists having experience in different industries.
Sergey Medvedev, Managing Director
Sergey Medvedev is a Managing Director of A-Ventures Company. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of asset management, private equity, M&A, and corporate management.
Before the establishment of A-Ventures, Sergey was responsible for asset management and direct investment activity at a private management company. Before that, Sergey worked at Texas Pacific Group (TPG) and Alfa Group. Sergey Medvedev also participated in the development of company restructuring and targeted privatization projects for Russian Privatisation Centre. Sergey has been a member of the management bodies, including Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards of a number of companies and occupied different operating positions.
He received MBA degree from Leti-Lovanium International School of Management and a degree of higher technical education. He is fluent in Russian and English.
Vladimir Dugin, Director
Vladimir holds a position of Director. He has experience in the execution of projects and crisis management, long-term business development, launching new ventures and M&A.
Before joining A-Ventures Management Company, Vladimir was Associate Director in the Direct Investment Department of Gazprombank OJSC – he was responsible for investment into the energy sector. Before that Vladimir worked as Vice President of Otkritie Capital – he was responsible for M&A advisory to companies from energy sector. He also worked in Sputnik Group, Centerinvest Group and Ernst & Young.
Vladimir graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (the Faculty of Economics). He is fluent in Russia, English and Spanish.
Vyacheslav Ozerov, Director
Vyacheslav holds a position of Director. He has experience in business restructuring and operating management. Vyacheslav has executed several projects on the operating and strategic management of restructured companies as one of the asset managers. It allowed him to directly influence the implementation of business development programs in regard to business processes optimisation and achieving financial targets.
Before joining A-Ventures Management Company, Vyacheslav was as M&A Director at TMK Group. Before that, Vyacheslav managed assets and investments at Sputnik Group and Centerinvest Group.
Vyacheslav holds MBA degree from Saint-Petersburg International Management Institute. He is fluent in Russian and English.
Denis Zharikov, Director, legal practice director
Denis occupies a position of Director and is responsible for legal consulting and management.
Before joining A-Ventures, Denis worked in the field of private company legal support for several years. Before that Denis served at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and dealt with economic crimes.
Denis graduated from Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Denis Pchelintsev, Director
Denis Pchelintsev is head and co-founder of several venture technology start-ups. He has 20 years of experience in the management of innovations, as well as technological and engineering companies, R&D, and venture investment.
In 2012 Denis became head of NGT-Sintez – a project on the development of a low-cost petroleum production technology. This project is currently successfully operating in the Russian, American, and European markets. Before the establishment of NGT-Sintez, Denis dealt with the development of of the several gas chemistry projects. Before that, Denis worked at Yuzhnoe Morskoye Parokhodstvo JSC, was Head of Research Institute of Applied Problems of Ecology, and managed the associated petroleum gas processing business within an investment company.
Denis is a member of the corporate management of several technology start-ups, takes part in the activity of the Skolkovo Business Angel Club. He is also a Mentor of the OhMyMentor project. He has a degree of Engineer of Sevastopol State Technical University, as well as Specialist and Senior Scientist (specializing in Company Management) of The HES of Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.
He is fluent in Russian and English.
